The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union says it welcomes the arrest of three suspected human traffickers and the rescue of over 50 children by the South African Police Services over the weekend.

Popcru’s Richard Mamabolo explains “According to the progress that the SAPS has been making, arresting suspected human traffickers.

We feel that South Africa has been used as an exit point from throughout the most parts of the region to the international world.

And of course locally as well we have seen that the statistics are increasing.

You would find your children forced into prostitution and others of course their unpaid labour.”
