EC traffic officer gunned down in suspected robbery

An Eastern Cape traffic officer has been gunned down in a suspected robbery in Port Elizabeth.

It’s believed the official was shot eight times while pulling into his home in Motherwell last night.

Authorities are also investigating whether his service pistol was stolen during the incident.
