SANCO on EFF’s journalist violence threat

SANCO yesterday condemned the EFF threat of violence directed at the new age. 

He added that political parties must be held accountable for inflammatory and reckless statements which have the potential to incite violence in a violate environment ahead of local government elections.

“To raise the concern at SANCO about the statement made today by EFF leader threatening violence against journalists”, said Jabu Mahlangu.

“We believe that misbehaviour should be condemned as a threat of violence directed at the journalist was actually uncalled for in a free South Africa”, concluded Mahlangu.
