Groote Schuur apologises to the public while they work on their Auto Attendance System

An apology has been issued by Groote Schuur Hospital, as they are busy upgrading their Auto Attendance System over the next two days. Members of the public are urged to have patience. Alaric Jacobs Principal Communications Officer at the hospital explained.

‘’Groote Schuur hospital are in the process of upgrading their Auto Attendance System over the next 2 days and there will be no voice prompts when the public calls this number which is 021 404 9111’’.

‘’They will just be directed straight to the operator. Also for our appointments area which is 021 404 5566 they will be forwarded to 3 different extensions’’. However if those extensions are not available. The rest of the customers will be cut off’’.

He concluded…’’This is just while we are attending to our Auto Attendance System. And we apologise for any inconvenience this might cause to the public’’.
