An accident in Potchefstroom leaves one man dead and five injured

An accident late last night left one person dead on the N12 in Potchefstroom. It is believed that three vehicles collided into each other causing the accident.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said when they arrived on the scene they found the wrecked vehicles scattered over the road.

Meiring said five other people sustained serious injuries and they were transported to hospital for the medical care that they required.

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
