DA calls for update on SA National Cancer Registry

Democratic
Alliance Deputy MP of Health Denise Robinson said the South African
National Cancer Registry has not been updated in eight years.
According to the South African Health
Review, 84 180 people were expected to be diagnosed with cancer last year, with
one in seven women predicted to be diagnosed with the disease.
The figure is expected to increase
by 2025.
