Abahlali baseMjondolo to lead service delivery march to Mayor De Lille’s office

Abahlali baseMjondolo Sweet Home Farm Branch said they are tired of the waiting system from government in the Western Cape.

Abahlali has called on Mayor Patricia de Lille to deliver on her promises to communities such as Sweet Home Farm and Marikana and start treating people with dignity.

Abahlali baseMjondolo Provincial Chairperson Siyabomboleka James said that the government of the Western Cape did not fulfil their promises; they are always making empty promises to the people.

“But again as you can see when they are approaching elections this is the time they come and make more promises after which they just leave and forget about the promises they have made,” added James.

James also added that they now feel like the forgotten community by the government.
